Warranty & Fit Guarantee

At DeAngelo, every garment is handcrafted, individually tailored, and built to last. We stand behind the quality of our materials, our construction, and our tailoring — and we want every customer to feel confident in their investment.

This page outlines what is covered, what isn’t, and how to request support.

1. Craftsmanship Warranty

Every DeAngelo garment comes with a 12-month craftsmanship warranty that covers any issue resulting from workmanship or materials.

Covered Issues

We will repair or replace your garment at no cost if you experience:

  • Stitching defects or loose seams

  • Structural issues within the coat construction

  • Hardware defects (buttons, clasps, reinforcement points)

  • Material flaws present upon arrival

  • Any damage caused by faulty manufacturing or assembly

Not Covered

The craftsmanship warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by normal wear

  • Stains, tears, spills, or accidents

  • Improper care or cleaning

  • Alterations performed by a third party

  • Damage caused by incorrect customer-entered measurements

2. Fit Guarantee (Tailoring Accuracy Promise)

Every garment is custom-made to your measurements. If the coat arrives and does not match the measurements you submitted, we will fix it.

What Qualifies as a Tailoring Error

Your garment qualifies if any of the following do not match your submitted numbers:

  • Chest measurement

  • Shoulder width

  • Sleeve length

  • Coat length

  • Waist taper

  • Hip taper

  • Back width

  • Any cut, shape, or proportion that deviates from your measurements

If the error is on our end, the correction is completely free.

What Does Not Qualify

The Fit Guarantee does not cover:

  • Incorrect measurements submitted by the customer

  • Preference changes (wanting it looser, tighter, shorter, etc.)

  • Weight changes after ordering

  • Styling modifications outside the original design

Preference-based adjustments can still be done by DeAngelo for a service fee.

3. How to Submit a Warranty or Fit Claim

To request support, email support@deangeloofficial.com within the required time frame:

  • Fit Guarantee: within 7 days of delivery

  • Craftsmanship Warranty: within 12 months of delivery

Please include:

  • Your order number

  • Clear photos of the garment worn or the defect

  • A short description of the issue

Our team will review your claim within 48 hours.

4. Shipping the Garment Back

If your claim is approved:

  1. Ship the garment back in its original DeAngelo box and packaging.

  2. We will repair, adjust, or replace the coat at no cost.

  3. We will ship the garment back to you free of charge.

5. Lifetime Support

Even after the warranty ends, we continue to offer:

  • Paid adjustment services

  • Professional guidance

  • Long-term care recommendations

  • Material-specific maintenance tips

  • Local tailor coordination if needed
